Description
29 South Street is a house that dates from the 18th century or earlier, with later alterations and additions. It has a timber frame and is faced with 19th-century red brick, with a plastered return. There is a rear wing and a red plain tiled roof, along with a red brick chimney stack on the rear wing. The house features a moulded eaves cornice and is two storeys high with attics. The first floor has a range of two 20th-century casement windows, while the ground floor has small paned vertically sliding sash windows with segmental heads. The central door is also from the 20th century and has a segmental head.
