Description

Hale's Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 18th century or earlier, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed with a timber frame and has panel pargetting. The roof is covered with red plain tiles, and the apex of the rear wing on the right side is at the ridge. There is a red brick chimney stack to the left of this apex and an external stack on the left side. The building has two storeys, featuring a six-window range on the first floor and a three-window range on the ground floor, all with small paned vertically sliding sashes. The central entrance has a 20th-century small paned door flanked by full-height sidelights, and there is a flat canopy above the door. Beneath the right windows on the first floor, there is a carriageway.
