Description

Trust Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, partially faced with red brick and partially plastered. The roof is a red plain tiled gambrel style and features two gabled dormers. There is a left external red brick chimney stack. The cottage has one storey and attics, with a two-window range that includes small paned horizontal sliding sashes and casements. The central door is vertically boarded and set within a moulded surround. Inside, notable features include chamfered bridging joists and beaded vertically boarded doors, some of which have wrought ironmongery.
