Description

Thatched Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century or earlier, with later additions and alterations. It features an exposed timber frame with plaster infill on the right gabled crosswing, which has a weatherboarded apex. The left range is finished with plaster that has batten decoration. The cottage has a hipped thatched roof with two gabled dormers, one with three lights and the other with one light. There are two red brick chimney stacks, with the left stack having square attached shafts. The building is one storey with attics and has a three-to-one window range of diamond leaded casements. A 20th-century small paned door is located to the left of the crosswing.
