Description

FRINTON AND WALTON THE STREET TM 22 SW KIRBY-LE-SOKEN (north side) 3/72 Red House and White House GV II 2 dwellings. Central range C16 origin, C17 extension and alterations, C19 brick facing and forward right range. Mainly timber framed, brick facing to Red House (right) plaster to White House (left). The 2 left ranges with red plain tiled roofs hipped to right, red pantiled right range. A red brick chimney stack to each range, central stack with square attached shaft. Dentilled eaves cornices. 2 storeys. 2:2:1 first floor windows of various 2 light casements and small paned vertically sliding sashes. Ground floor left to right, French window with traceried porch, 4 panel 2 light door, hipped red tiled 3 light bay, small paned vertically sliding sash windows, gauged brick arch, 2 panelled door with small paned top light, moulded surround, similar right windows with herringbone arch over. White painted left range. Interiors with inglenook fireplaces, stop chamfered bridging joists, side girts, top plates and wall studs. Vertically boarded doors with ironmongery.
