Description

This barn, located approximately 60 meters southwest of Lower Farmhouse, dates back to the 16th century, with 18th-century hanging knees and roof. It features a timber frame with weatherboarding and a brick plinth, topped by a half-hipped roof covered in red plain tiles. The structure consists of five bays, with a halved and bridled top plate scarf. It has hanging knees supporting formerly arched braced tie beams and a double staggered side purlin roof that is pegged at the ridge. Additionally, there is a two-bay midstrey.
