Description
Humberlands is a house that dates from the 15th or 16th century, with a 20th-century extension on the right. It features a timber frame with panel pargetting and a red pantile roof. The building is two storeys high and has a gabled dormer on the right extension. There are four vari-light leaded casements and an off-centre gabled porch with a boarded door. The original structure has a four-bay frame, with stop-chamfered bridging joists and a stop-chamfered storey post that is jowled at the first floor. It also includes original four-light mullion windows, an inglenook fireplace with a moulded and cambered mantel beam, arched braces to the tie beams, a halved and bridled top plate scarf, and cambered tie beams.
