Description

Lifkins Farmhouse is a 17th century farmhouse that has undergone later alterations. It features three bays and two storeys, with a plastered exterior. The roof is ridged and gabled, covered with peg tiles, and has a central red brick chimney. The ground storey includes a central door set in a pedimented case, with a six-panelled leaf and small paned hornless sashes on either side. The first storey has three Gothic sashes, with the central one being round-headed and featuring Y-tracery, while the left and right sashes are pointed sash-hung lights. Additionally, there are a pair of casements in each attic gable. To the left, there are two single-storeyed, plastered and peg-tiled additions that form an L-plan.
