Description
Jupes Hill House is a detached house dating from around 1620 for the western range, with the eastern range added in the 19th century. The original block is timber framed and stuccoed, featuring a steeply pitched, double-pitched roof at the eaves. The lobby entry is plain on the western range, which retains the original stack. The west facade has three windows, including small square-headed windows with outer sashes and an inner 2-light casement window. There is a 19th or 20th-century conservatory made of timber and glass across the ground floor. Inside, substantial framing remains, with unjowled posts and a roof of the through purlin type. A blocked original window on the first floor next to the central window still has three diamond mullions.
