Description

This barn, located northeast of Harps Farmhouse, dates from the late 16th century or early 17th century. It features a half-hipped roof covered with corrugated iron, along with two and a half-hipped midstreys topped with red plain tiles. The structure is timber framed and weatherboarded, consisting of eight bays and a side purlin queen strut roof. It has aisles on only one side, with jowled aisle posts that include arched braces connecting to the tie beams. The frame is virtually complete, showcasing halved and bladed scarfs.
