Description

Stornaway is a cottage dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, with later additions. It features a plain tile roof that is two levels high with a hipped lean-to. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, standing at one and a half storeys tall, and includes a gabled dormer. The front has a range of five windows, which are a mix of casements with glazing bars, two of which are leaded. To the left, there is a lean-to greenhouse and a rendered chimney stack set into the wall. On the right side, there are two chimney stacks, one rendered and one made of red brick. At the rear, there is an external chimney stack that dates back to the 16th or 17th century.
