Howletts is a house dating from the late 16th century to the early 17th century. It is timber framed and plastered, featuring a plain red tiled roof with tile hung gables. The building is two storeys high, with a four-window range on the ground floor and a three-window range on the first floor. The windows are metal casements with leaded lights. There is a gabled porch with a boarded door and a central concertina red brick chimney stack.
