Description
Kowhai Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century, with a 20th-century rear extension. It features a red plain tile roof and is built from brick, which has modern plaster and pargetting. The eaves are dentilled, and there are two ranges of horizontal sliding sash windows with small-paned glazing bars. A red plain tile gabled porch with brackets adds to its character, and there are two red brick chimneys. The cottage is listed for its group value.
