Description

This barn, located approximately 40 metres northeast of Walton Hall, dates from the 18th or 19th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a red pantiled roof. The structure features three gabled midstreys, each adorned with bargeboards and finials, along with a gabled extension to the northeast. Lean-to extensions are present between the midstreys. The west face of the barn has five upper windows, two small lights, and two doorways. It is a large barn, likely comprising 11 bays, and has a side purlin queen strut roof with a ridge board.
