Description
Gothic House is a house located on Saville Street in Walton-on-the-Naze, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a grey tiled roof with a red brick chimney stack on the right side. The building has two storeys and is characterized by end pilasters.
The front facade has a two-window range of three-light casements with double transoms and Gothic heads, all framed by sunk chamfered brick surrounds and moulded labels above. The ground floor mirrors this design but includes four taller lights with three transoms. A central name plaque is also present.
On the left side of the building, there are three similar window openings on the first floor, while the windows to the right and left, as well as two ground floor openings, are blocked. The central doorway features similar moulding and a label, and it is fitted with a nailed plank and muntin door that has three glazed graduated lancets between the muntins.
