Description
Number 19 is a house located on South Street in Rochford, featuring early 19th-century architecture. It is constructed of red brick and has a double range of red plain tiled roofs, with end red brick chimney stacks. The front range has a parapet and parapet verges. The building stands three storeys tall and has a five-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes, with gauged brick arches and gault brick used for the central windows.
There is a step approach leading to a central door, which consists of four panels and two lights. The doorcase features reveal panels, moulded capitals and bases to fluted pilasters, a frieze, and a moulded and dentilled semi-circular flat canopy. Attached to the right and left angles of the doorcase is a dwarf wall, which is topped with low cast iron railings that have baluster heads arching between the support posts.
