Description

House. It likely originates from the 16th century, but has features from the 18th and 19th centuries. The house is timber-framed and has a red brick facade, with weatherboarded returns and rear sections. The roof is covered in red plain tiles, and there is a central red brick chimney stack. It is two storeys high with attics, and has a central gable extending above the eaves. The front has a three-window arrangement of small-paned vertically sliding sash windows with horns; a similar window is present in the gable. Gauged brick arches feature above the ground-floor windows and the gable. The central entrance has a six-panelled door, a moulded surround, a frieze, and a pediment supported by console brackets.
