Description

House. Dating from the 16th century or earlier, it has undergone alterations and additions in the 19th century and later. The house is timber-framed and plastered, with a red plain tiled roof. It features a gabled crosswing to the right and a gabled range to the rear right. A large square red brick chimney stack stands to the left of the gable, along with two other chimney stacks. The house is one storey high with attics, and has two gabled dormers containing 19th-century 2 and 3 light casements with glazing bars. The front elevation has a 2:1 window arrangement of 19th-century 3 light casements with glazing bars, with pentice boards supported by brackets above. A gabled open porch with a red plain tiled roof leads to a 4-panel, 2-light door.
