Description
The Ha-Ha wall, dating from the 18th century or earlier, is constructed of red brick and features a semi-circular brick coping. The wall's height varies, reaching approximately 3 to 5 metres on the eastern and northern sides, tapering down to about 1 metre at the western end. The eastern section runs parallel to the east wall of the adjacent walled garden, creating a raised walk between them, which is adorned with terminal urns. This section includes a later stepped parapet made of matching materials. At the north-east corner, a spur section encloses a ramp entrance from the east. The western section is topped with 20th-century wrought iron railings and gates.
