Description

Sextons Farmhouse is an 18th-century cottage located on Sextons Lane, Great Braxted. It is timber-framed with rendered plaster walls and has a red plain tiled gambrel roof. The roof has three gabled dormers, each with small paned casement windows. Red brick chimney stacks are visible on the right and left sides of the building. The ground floor features two small paned vertically sliding sash windows, and a central part-glazed door with a moulded surround. A small lean-to is attached to the left return. A rear wing extends from the main body of the cottage and also features a gambrel roof.
