Description

The house is likely of 16th century or earlier origin, with later alterations and additions. It is constructed with an exposed timber frame and plaster infill, and has a red plain tiled roof. The house features red brick chimney stacks – one to the left and one central – with moulded bases and octagonal shafts, three and five respectively. Gables are present to the right and left of the front elevation, and four gables are visible at the rear. The two storeys and attic space contain a four-window range of leaded casement windows, each with transoms. The central entrance consists of a two-panelled door with a fluted surround, upswept frieze, and two lights on either side.
