Description

House. Dating from the 17th century or earlier, with later additions and restorations in subsequent centuries. The house is characterised by an exposed timber frame with plaster infill panels. It has red plain tiled roofs. A large chimney stack rises from the main range, featuring a square base and four octagonal shafts. The main two-storey central range is flanked by a two-storey and attic gabled crosswing to the right, and a lower-level extension to the left, which has no windows. A wing extends to the rear left. The front façade has a three-window arrangement of leaded casement windows. A 20th-century red tiled porch with part-glazed windows and a boarded door sits to the right of the main range.
