Description
Fenner's Farmhouse, located north of the Pepper's Farm complex, is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier for the rear range, with a front range added in the 19th century. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with red plain tiled roofs that have a double range design. It features external red brick chimney stacks on both the right and left sides of the front range, as well as a central chimney stack on the rear range. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a three-window range of vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars. There is a 20th-century central enclosed porch that includes a two-panelled two-light door. Inside, notable features include exposed stop-chamfered bridging joists and heavy ceiling joists in the rear range.
