Description

Hill Farmhouse is a house dating from the 15th century or earlier. It is timber-framed and plastered, with red plain tiled roofs. A large, central red brick chimney stack is visible in the hall. The right side of the hall features a jettied crosswing, where collar and part of a crownpost brace are exposed. The hall itself is a single storey, while the crosswing rises to two storeys. The house has a 1:1 window range, featuring various casements and vertically sliding sash windows, many with glazing bars. Curved brackets support the jetty of the crosswing. A boarded door is located on the left side of the house.
