Description

Lamb House is a house likely dating to the 16th century or earlier. It is timber-framed and plastered with red plain tiled roofs. The house features two red brick chimney stacks, the one on the right being external and stepped. To the left is a two-storey gabled crosswing, featuring a pentice board to the jetty. The main range is a one-storey and attic structure with a central gabled dormer. It has four windows on the ground floor, two of which are oriels with small-paned casements, and two vertically sliding sashes. A similar sash window is found on the crosswing's first floor. The right return fronts Lamb Lane, displaying six windows and a vertically boarded door with a light. To the right of this return is an incorporated red brick and plaster gabled wing with two small vertically boarded doors at first floor level.
