Description

This barn, likely dating to the 18th or 19th century, stands approximately 40 metres east of Rawreth Hall. It is a timber-framed structure with weatherboard cladding and a corrugated iron roof, featuring a brick plinth at its base. The barn has nine bays and includes two large gabled midstreys that project outwards to the right and left. The walls are reinforced with through bracing. The roof is supported by a side purlin ridgeboard, originally utilising arched braces to the tie beams, but now incorporating some straight braces and hanging knees.
