Description

These stables, located approximately 10 metres north of The Elms, date from the 18th to 19th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature grey slate roofs. The building is symmetrical, with a central gabled bay that has one storey and a loft above. On either side, there are single storey bays with end pilasters and two ranges of small paned casements. The central entrance consists of a vertically boarded door with a small paned light above it, and there is a loft door situated above. This structure is a good example of its type and is part of a farm complex.
