Description
Beavis Hall is a house with origins dating back to the 15th century or earlier, featuring later alterations and additions. It has a timber-framed and plastered structure, with an exposed frame that includes halved arched braces on the first floor of the left jettied gabled crosswing. The right return is weatherboarded, and the building has red plain tiled roofs, with a prominent gable on the right side. A red brick chimney stack is located at the rear right, and there are curved brackets supporting the jetty. The house is two storeys high and has a window arrangement of one to three, consisting of 20th-century casements, some of which are small paned. There is a 20th-century door on the left return. It is reputed to have a crown post roof construction.
