Description
Munkins Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 15th or 16th century, or possibly earlier. It is constructed with a timber frame and has panel plastering. This hall house features gabled crosswings on both the right and left sides. The roofs are covered with red plain tiles and include two gabled dormers at both the front and rear. There are later outshots added to the gables, the central range, and the left extension. The building has three red brick chimney stacks, one for each range. It is one storey high with attics and has a window arrangement of 1:2:1, featuring 20th-century casements with pentice boards above. The left extension has a vertically boarded door. It is reputed to contain one room that is lined with 18th-century panelling.
