Description
Munkins Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with later alterations and additions. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior, topped with red plain tiled roofs. The building features a gabled crosswing on the left side and has central and external right red brick chimney stacks. It is two storeys tall with a single-storey lean-to extension on the right. The first floor has a window arrangement of 1:4, while the ground floor has a 1:3 arrangement, with all windows being two or three light casements that include transoms. There is a 20th-century open gabled porch and a vertically boarded door with a pentice board above it. Additionally, there are two gabled dormers on the east (left) return of the cottage.
