Description
Roach House, Shore House, and Corner Cottage is an 18th-century red brick building featuring a panelled parapet with a raised stone band. The structure has two storeys and attics, with a six-window range, although one window is blocked. It has double-hung sash windows with glazing bars set in flush cased frames. A raised stone band runs between the storeys. The central part of each dwelling, which consists of one window range, slightly projects forward and includes a four-panel door set in panelled reveals, complete with pilasters, a frieze, and a pediment. The roof is tiled and features two flat-headed dormers. This building is part of a group that includes the Quayside and Moorings, Hove to Quay Cote, Ye Olde White Harte Hotel, Shore House, Roach House and Corner Cottage, and The Anchor Hotel.
