Description

This is an 18th-century red brick building, now rendered in roughcast, known as "Moorings". It is two storeys high with attics, and has a four-window front. The windows are double-hung sashes, some with glazing bars. A two-storey, shallow bow window with vertical glazing bars has been added to the west end, and a modern two-storey bay window to the east end. Modern doorways are present. The tiled roof has three dormers, two of which are large with splayed corners. "Moorings" is part of a group that includes Quayside and Moorings, Hove to and Quay Cote, Ye Olde White Harte Hotel, Shore House, Roach House and Corner Cottage, and The Anchor Hotel.
