Description

This barn, located approximately 25 metres northwest of Ulting Wick, dates back to the 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, topped with a red plain tiled roof. The structure features a central gabled midstrey outshot on the right side and a pigeon loft in the midstrey gable. The barn consists of five bays and has a pegged side purlin roof. Notable architectural details include arched braces supporting the tie beams and jowled storey posts. The barn also shows significant reuse of older timber in its construction.
