Description
The Old Rectory is a house dating from the early 19th century, constructed of gault brick with a grey slate roof. It features two gault brick chimney stacks, with two diagonal shafts on the left stack and four on the right. The building has moulded parapet verges and a moulded eaves cornice. It is two storeys high and has a three-window range of gault chamfered and moulded three-light windows, all with Gothic glazing bars and labels above, except for the ground floor which has a central five-light window. There are three circular iron tie plates on the exterior. The left gabled return includes a rear conservatory, while the right gabled return has a two-window range, each with two lights similar to those on the front, and recessed half-glazed double doors to the right, also featuring matching glazing bars and a moulded brick surround.
