Description

TL 40 SW EPPING UPLAND lOm north of 6/1 Barn, 10m north of Parvills GV II

Barn and granary. Late C16, extended in early C19. Timber framed and weatherboarded, with red plain tile half hipped roof. 4 bays of original build, with 2 bay extension to east. C16 frame has arch braced tie beams, halved and bladed top plate scarfs and side purlin roof. Early C19 frame has first floor with stop chamfered bridging joist. C19 extension to south with black pantile roof.
