Description
This building is a barn and granary located 10 metres north of Parvills, dating from the late 16th century and extended in the early 19th century. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded, topped with a red plain tile half hipped roof. The original structure consists of four bays, with an additional two-bay extension to the east. The 16th-century frame includes arch braced tie beams, halved and bladed top plate scarfs, and a side purlin roof. The early 19th-century extension has a first floor supported by stop-chamfered bridging joists. There is also a 19th-century extension to the south, which has a black pantile roof.
