TL 40 SW EPPING UPLAND 6/4 Gills Farmhouse 22.2.52 GV II

House. C16 and earlier, with C18 and C20 alterations. Timber framed, part plastered and part weatherboarded with red plain tile roof. 2 Storeys. L shaped plan. West front has 3 window range late C18 vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. C18 door has simple flat canopy on large brackets, with moulded frieze and architraves. Red brick chimney stacks. Lean-to extensions on north side. Moated site. (RCHM9).
