Description
Hall Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 16th or 17th century, with later alterations and additions. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered with ashlar lines. The roof is covered with red plain tiles, hipped and extending out to the right. There is a red brick chimney stack located off centre to the right. The building has two storeys, with a one storey and attic rear left wing. The front features a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes set in moulded surrounds, with pentice boards above the ground floor windows. The entrance has a 20th-century vertically boarded door topped with a pediment supported by brackets. The rear left wing includes a gabled dormer and two small paned casement windows, with a small light situated between them. Originally, the farmhouse had a crosswing to the right.
