Description

This cottage, located on the west corner of Cloverly Road next to Grey End, dates from the 18th century or earlier. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, featuring a plain red tiled roof that has an outshot at the rear and to the right. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range, primarily consisting of small paned casements with pentice boards above. There is a four-board door with a pentice board over it, along with a plain door to the right of the outshot. A central red brick chimney stack is present. The left side of the cottage is roughly rendered and has one window range of small paned vertical sliding sashes, along with a 20th-century small paned door to the left.
