Description

Gardeners is a cottage that possibly dates from the 17th or 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, with plastered returns. The roof is covered with red plain tiles. There are red brick chimney stacks located on the left external side and off-centre to the right and rear. The building has one storey with attics and features one gabled dormer. There is a range of three windows and a small window on the right, all of which were boarded at the time of the resurvey. The cottage has two vertically boarded doors, each with pentice boards. There is also a later rear lean-to addition.
