Description

Little Savages is a cottage dating from the 17th or 18th century, with later alterations. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped by a thatched roof. The building features a central gabled dormer and has red brick chimney stacks located off centre to the left and external to the right. There is a single-storey lean-to extension on the right side. The cottage is one storey with attics and has a three-window range consisting of small-paned and 19th-century casements with central transoms. The doors are vertically boarded, located off centre to the left and at the lean-to extension. Inside, there are chamfered bridging joists and a restored back-to-back inglenook fireplace.
