Description

The Manse is a house dating to the 17th century, with later alterations and additions. It is constructed with a timber frame and is clad in weatherboard. The roof is covered with red clay tiles. The house has red brick chimney stacks, one significantly larger and offset, built in a Flemish bond pattern. It is two storeys high, with a two-window front featuring small-paned vertically sliding sash windows, with pentice boards on the ground floor. A central, gabled porch provides access to a 20th-century panelled front door. At the rear, there are two tarred weatherboarded gabled extensions. Inside, the house features chamfered bridging joists.
