Description

Nos 36 and 38 on Romford Road are two cottages dating from the 18th to 19th century. They are timber framed and have a rough rendered exterior. The roof is covered with red plain tiles and features two gabled dormers, along with a central hipped gable that extends forward to create an open porch supported by timber. The cottages are one storey high with attics and have a four-window range of small paned casements. There are two central board doors and three red brick chimney stacks located to the left, right, and center.
