Description
Suttons Lodge is a lodge cottage built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is likely constructed of gault brick and has a rough rendered finish. The roof is made of grey slate and features a central gable with single-storey extensions on both the left and right sides. The front of the building has a two-storey semi-octagonal bay topped with a pointed lead roof. There are three-light windows with leaded margins on both the ground and first floors of the bay, with the first-floor window having a segmental head. To the right, there is a matching window in the outshot, which has a 20th-century glazed and weatherboarded flat-roofed porch. The left outshot has a vertical boarded door. A central diagonal chimney shaft made of gault brick is attached to the building.
