Cottages To North East Of Suttons Lodge And Immediately West Of Parish Boundary With Stanford Rivers

These are two cottages, which may now function as a single dwelling, located to the northeast of Suttons Lodge and immediately west of the parish boundary with Stanford Rivers. They were built in the late 18th century or early 19th century and are constructed from gault brick with a red plain tiled roof.

The central gable projects forward and features a recessed porch on the ground floor. The porch has plank and muntin doors with segmental heads on both the right and left sides. It is supported by four wooden columns with capitals and bases. Above the porch, there is a central three-light window. The cottages are one storey high with attics, and there are gabled dormers on both the left and right sides, each with three lights and round heads. Additionally, there are three-light hipped bay windows on the right and left, each covered with metal hoods. All the windows are diamond leaded, and there are external gault brick chimney stacks on both sides of the building.
