Description
69 and 71 Meeting Street are two cottages built around 1800. They are constructed of red brick with a granite rubble stone plinth and feature a pantile roof with brick ridge, end, and rear stacks. The cottages are two storeys high and have five 2-light horizontal sliding sash windows.
No. 71, on the left, has a 3-light casement with top lights on either side of a central 6-panelled door, which has glazed top panels and is accessed by three steps. No. 69, on the right, features a 6/6 sash window on either side of a central doorcase with a 6-panelled door. The ground floor windows have cambered lintels, except for the doorcase of No. 69. A coped wall extends a short distance from the left end of the building. There are extensions at the rear.
