Description

This house in Quorn dates to the 17th and 18th centuries. It is constructed of whitewashed granite rubble stone with a Swithland slate roof, featuring brick stacks projecting from both ranges. The house is composed of two ranges, with the range to the right being taller. The left range is two storeys high and has two three-light horizontal sliding sash windows on each floor. To the right of this window is a doorcase containing a six-panelled door with a fanlight. Part of a tie beam truss and a wall post with brace is visible on the left end. The right range is two-and-a-half storeys high and features a two-light horizontal sliding sash window with top lights above a similar three-light window. A blocked window is present on both floors and in the attic at the right end. A single-and-a-half-storey wing and a lean-to extension are located at the rear.
