Description

This is an 18th-century barn located to the east of Mitchells Farmhouse. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, featuring a plain red tiled roof. The barn has two midstrys and eight bays, with one bay containing an inserted first floor. There is a loft door positioned to the left of the midstry. The structure includes hanging knees to the tie beams and a staggered side purlin roof. The top plate is joined with a halved and bladed scarf. Additionally, there is a weatherboarded and pantiled lean-to situated in the center and to the right of the midstrys.
