Description

TL 50 SE ONGAR SHELLEY (Off Ongar Road) 5/151 Ostlery, Granary & Kennels to West and rear of Boarded Barns Farm House

GV II

Outbuildings, with central 2 storey and loft,C16 or earlier Granary. Stable and Grooms room, Cl6 or earlier single storey to left, and Cl8/l9 single storey dog kennels to right. Timber framed and mainly weatherboarded with some rendering to Stable. The Granary of 3 bays with heavy stop chamfered beams and later iron tie bars with iron roundel stops. Halved bracing to Grooms room and stable and 2 C17/18 small paned casements. 4 casements to Granary first floor. Red plain tiled roof to these ranges and red Roman tiles to attached weatherboarded 3 door kennels to right, 3 single and 3 double doors, all of heavy vertical boarding and some with wrought catches and hinges.
