Description
The granary, located approximately 25 meters northeast of Wardrobes House, dates from the early 19th century. It features a timber frame with weatherboard cladding and a hipped tile roof. The southeast half of the building rests on flint walls with brick dressings, while the northwest half is supported by very tall staddle stones. This small rectangular structure has a lower walled section that includes a central room flanked by narrow dog kennels, each with arched entries on the sides. The southeast front has central board doors for both the lower part and the granary. An upper door breaks through the eaves, topped with a small gable, and is accompanied by small window openings on either side. To the left, there is a brick and flint lean-to featuring cross-shaped vents.
