Description

The outbuildings, including stables, barn, and stallion shed, date from the 18th century and early 19th century and are located to the northeast of Boarded Barns Farmhouse, surrounding a cattle yard. They are primarily timber framed and weatherboarded, featuring red plain and Roman tile roofs, with one range constructed of 18th-century red brick with flared headers.

The south range consists of four stallion stables, which retain their original doors, partitions, feeding troughs, gates with iron rails, and ball finials, all with vertical headed weatherboard. To the northwest, there is a three-range block that includes a four-bay cart lodge with hanging knees to the uprights and through bracing, a five-bay barn with a queen strut roof, through bracing, two doors, and two windows, and a two-bay building with a stable door, which still has some original catches.

The north range features a five-bay open front cattle shed and a return. The east range is made of 18th-century red brick with flared headers, has a hipped red pantile roof, and includes two stable doors and five windows on the outer wall.
